SMA is offering MEP/FP engineering services for our client Reilly Associates in support of a new 225,000 SF manufacturing facility in Phase 1, and a 200,000 SF future addition in Phase II for Seokoh located in Olyphant, PA.
Project Cobra - Sparrows Point, Baltimore County, MD
This project consists of one 251,000 SF Cold Storage Facility with the following features:
- 60′ Deep Refrigerated Dock
- -10° to 60° Fully Convertible Storage Space
- 50′ Clear Height with 6-8 High Pallet Racking
- Option 01 spec a “box within a box”, tilt- up construction
- Option 02 build to suit, perimeter columns, insulated metal panels. This will require additional sprinkler system design for a dry pipe system and lighting fixtures.
The Confluence - Easton, PA
Boyle Construction, Inc. contacted SMA for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and engineering services.
Peron Development is developing the old Days Inn lot at the corner of South 3rd Street and Larry Holmes Drive in downtown Easton. The project, named Confluence, is a large mixed use building. The 474,825-square-foot mixed-use development will be built at 185 S. Third St., Easton, PA. The building will feature 212 one- and two-bedroom apartments; 42 two- and three-bedroom condominiums, and 16,000 square feet of retail space that will include a restaurant, artist studios, and cinema space that can be used for live performances and other events. There is also a two level enclosed parking garage and interior courtyard.
Bellefonte Waterfront Condos - Bellefonte, PA
SMA is to provide engineering services for Laucks Architects for a new approximately 87,576 SF, six (6) story, 35-unit apartment building. The first floor will include a retail shell & core, residential lobby, two (2) staircases, and an elevator. The retail tenant fit out is not part of the scope of work for this project.
Floors 2, 3, 4, and 5 will have five (5) 2BR apartments, two (2) 3BR apartments, janitors’ closet, trash chalet, and an electrical/mechanical room.
SMA will design HVAC, exhaust, sanitary & vent, domestic H/C water, interior storm, electrical power, Interior lighting (normal and emergency lighting by battery backup), exterior lighting (from building) exits signs, fire alarm, and emergency generator. SMA will provide performance-based fire protection system design. Design of conduit only for Telephone / Data / Cable TV / Internet/Security Systems wiring for these systems is done by others.

250 E Broad St - Bethlehem, PA
SMA is providing engineering services for the demolition of a one-story building, and construction of a new 57,000 sf four story apartment building with 42 units and Bethlehem Food Co-op grocery store on the first floor.
SMA is designing HVAC, exhaust, sanitary & vent, domestic H/C water, interior storm, electrical power, interior and exterior lighting, fire alarm, and sprinklers. The project is estimated to completed in the summer of 2023.
